Garmin Connect AutoSync Integration

Find out about the new Garmin Connect Autosync Integration.

It is even easier to get your intended, structured workouts from TrainingPeaks to your Garmin apparatus. With the new Garmin Connect AutoSync attribute, you are able to sync more workouts with more versatility to devices straight through Garmin Connect without using the TrainingPeaks Daily Workout IQ app. This integration offers a seamless training experience by allowing you to plan and make structured workouts in TrainingPeaks, precisely execute and monitor those workouts in real-time using your Garmin device, then provide a comprehensive analysis of the operation upon completion.

Get Started

It is possible to start using the new AutoSync feature by connecting your TrainingPeaks and Garmin Connect account here. If you are already using the Garmin Connect Autosync to ship finished tasks from your device to TrainingPeaks via Garmin Connect, you will be given the option to bring the projected workout sync. If you've never used the Garmin Connect Autosync, then you may set both the planned and finished the sync.

Next time your device syncs with Garmin Connect, your planned ordered workouts will be sent for a device. Depending on the model of your Garmin device your workouts will sync wirelessly with BLUETOOTH® technologies, Wi-Fi® connectivity, LTE, USB cable, or stick using ANT+ technology to upload your completed workouts via Garmin Express. Find more information about receiving your workouts from your Garmin Connect Calendar for your device here.

What's different?

If you are already using the TrainingPeaks Daily Workout IQ program to sync your planned workouts, you'll notice several changes once you set up the newest Calendar Sync
All your future eligible workouts will sync to a Garmin Connect calendar and be on your device. This means that if you decide at the last minute which you need to do tomorrow's workout today, you may simply select that workout from the list of workouts through the Calendar or Training Plan option on your own device.

Immediate updates.
Mature apparatus are now compatible. Including all Edge biking computers back to the 500, the Forerunner 910XT and 920XT watches, as well as the Fenix watch back to the initial Fenix 3. Formerly, to get workouts on your Garmin device you would have to download, install, and install the Daily Workout IQ app, which demanded a separate login and authorization. By employing the built-in Calendar, training plan, and workout features on your device instead of the IQ app, the full procedure for syncing planned workouts for your device will occur automatically. Once you have the Calendar Sync set up and working, we recommend eliminating the TrainingPeaks Daily Workout IQ app from your device (it will not interfere with the newest Calendar sync, but removing it's going to free up a small space and give you one less item to scroll through on your list of apps).
